Driver Profile

Mandy's Dad - Started his career in racing as a young kid, helping his Dad build race motors and learn the mechanics of race cars. As a teenager, he raced a MG with SCCA and won many races. His next adventure in racing was in Asphalt Modifieds at I-70 Speedway in the late '90s and early 2000. Steve started Team Chick Motorsports in 2000 to participate in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and a limited amount of NASCAR's former Busch Series races. His experience is priceless to the team.

Steve Sr. started his racing career as a young teenager building race motors for Charlie Williams Engines. He has always been behind the scenes of his son, Steve Chick, Jr.'s racing ventures. His technical experience with high performance race engines and electrical elements of race cars is invaluable.

Jennifer owns her own accounting firm and this serves as the back office for Team Chick. She manages the budget and finances and handles all of the travel arrangements for the team. Her greatest contribution is to make sure everyone is fed on race trips!!!

Mike Huffman is a retired firefighter with Olathe Fire Department in Olathe, Kansas. He served for many years as a member of the Fire & Rescue crew of Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, KS. He joined Team Chick at the beginning of the 2016 race season. His technical experience and common sense is very important to the operations of the team.

Mike is the owner of Dynamic Drivelines and has been a huge supporter of the team since 2012, since Mandy began racing B-Modifieds on dirt.

Dalton is from Rolla, Missouri and is a mechanic with the largest Ford dealership in Missouri. He enjoys hunting and fishing and is a huge race fan.
