Ramey Returning to Terry Doogs Racing in 2022 With Impact Signs, Awnings, Wraps and Other Sponsors Continuing Partnerships

Inside Line Promotions – SEDALIA, Mo. (Nov. 16, 2021) – Gunner Ramey is excited to build upon a stout season by putting the pieces back together in 2022.

Ramey will team up with Terry Doogs Racing next season, marking the third straight year together.

“For me being young in the sport it’s important to have someone like Terry,” Ramey said. “I’ve known Terry forever and he’s been around sprint car racing forever. He’s been really successful. It helps me develop as a driver when I have someone like that who is really good at what they do. Even when we show up to new places we’re always right there and only a few adjustments from getting me comfortable. He always has me dialed in, which makes it easier for me to learn.”

The team will also return most if not all of its partners, including Impact Signs, Awnings, Wraps.

“Impact was my first-ever sponsor,” Ramey said. “To have them on board is special. David and Julie Goodson do a lot for the sport and for me. They have a lot of connections so it’s been helpful to me as I’m learning and growing as a driver. I’m grateful to have them and all of our amazing partners continue to support us.”

Ramey enters next year with momentum on his side following a pair of championships this year – his first full season behind the wheel of a winged sprint car.

“I thought we had a successful year, especially with the two championships,” he said. “I felt like for the most part we were always fast and then we were really consistent the second half of the year. I think we should have won a few races this year. A lot of that is me making rookie mistakes. I think next year I’ll be better and faster and we should be able to capitalize better. We want to build off this year. We’re going to work hard this winter to get everything ready to hopefully have an even better season next year.”
