Inside Line Promotions – KANSAS CITY, Kan. (Nov. 2, 2021) – Brian Brown wraps up the 2021 season this weekend when he ventures to North Carolina to tackle the NGK NTK World of Outlaws World Finals.

It marks the final opportunity of the season for Brown to capture a World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series triumph.

Oct. 22 – Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan. – Qualifying: 2; Heat race: 1 (1); Dash: 6 (4); Feature: 21 (6).

“The FVP Platinum Battery Showdown was a great event with FVP having a bunch of customers and employees out there,” Brown said. “We went out toward the end of qualifying when the track slowed down and went second quick. Then we won our heat race, but we had brake issues from the dash on. At the end of the night we were fighting for a top 10, but with no brakes you don’t want to put yourself or anybody else in harm’s way so we pulled off early.”

UP NEXT – Thursday through Saturday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C., for the NGK NTK World of Outlaws World Finals with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series

“Money-wise it’s two Outlaws shows, but prestige-wise it’s hovering around that top five in the events that we race,” Brown said. “It ends the season, too, so you want to go there and have a good result. It propels you into a good winter. All the cars that are in the hunt to win across the country are usually there so it’s a tough deal, but it’s a place we’ve been successful at in the past.

“We were able to win there in 2014. It seems we’re usually competing for a top five during at least one of the nights there so we’re looking forward to it.

“We want to go in there and get qualified well. With qualifying for both shows on Thursday it’s important to unload well because you can set yourself up for two good nights or two bad nights on that first night. We need to have all of our ducks in a row to have a final good weekend of the year.”
