Inside Line Promotions – ROSSVILLE, Ill. (Aug. 6, 2019) – The SawBlade.com backed tractor pulling team owned by David and Janet Esteb continues to battle engine demons.
Mechanical woes at a pull last Friday at Christman Park resulted in a cracked block and ended the team’s weekend early.
“Where we had welded the block, it cracked during the pass, spun the No. 6 bearing,” Janet Esteb said. “We lost oil pressure and there was bearing material in the oil pan so we came home and pulled the old motor. We tore down the motor from last year and will be using that block to put the tractor back together.”
The Esteb’s were forced to miss a Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour event Saturday at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds in Wapakoneta, Ohio.
“We are planning to compete this coming weekend in Hillsboro, Wis.,” Janet Esteb noted.
The team is tied for 10th in the championship standings.
