Inside Line Promotions – LONGDALE, Okla. (March 26, 2019) – The lights are back on at Longdale Speedway, which kicks off a 17-race schedule this Saturday.
The 3/8-mile clay oval was dormant last year, but returns with a bang as Pure Stocks, Limited (Inter) Sport Mods, IMCA Sport Mods, IMCA Stock Cars and IMCA/USRA Modifieds are on the program this weekend during the first official race since October 2017.
The event is the first of at least 10 races this season for all five divisions as a points fund totaling more than $10,000 was recently announced for regular competitors at Longdale Speedway. The IMCA/USRA Modifieds champion will receive $1,000 while the Limited (Inter) Sport Mods and IMCA Sport Mods champions each earn $500. The Pure Stock champion garners $400.
Additional marquee events this season include the USMTS Night of the Stars (April 27), the Walleye Rodeo Race-Fest featuring Kenny Wallace (May 18), the URSS/SSO Sprint Car Challenge (May 25), the 5th annual America Proud 4th of July Celebration (July 5-6), the Darren Ernst Memorial Ironman Challenge (Aug. 31 and Sept. 1) and the Winter Nationals (Oct. 12-13).
It all begins this Saturday as racing is slated to start at approximately 6:30 p.m.
Adult general admission tickets are $12 per person. Seniors and military member pricing is $10 per person.

Longdale Speedway is a semi-banked, 3/8-mile clay oval located in Longdale, Okla. Longdale features a gravel pit area off of the backstretch with a concrete viewing area. The pits also surrounds the track with an electronic scoreboard, television quality lighting, aluminum grandstand seating 2,000 along with a souvenir shop, sno cone hut, concessions and Herb’s Smoke Shack featuring ribs and turkey legs. All of these features making Longdale Speedway the premier dirt track in Northwest Oklahoma.
