Inside Line Promotions – MAPLE GROVE, Minn. (Jan. 16, 2019) – A world champion will be crowned this weekend when the Rotorua Stock Car Club hosts the TWS World 240s.
The TWS World Invitation Superstocks Championship is held this Friday and Saturday at Paradise Valley Speedway in Ngongotaha Valley, New Zealand, where more than 100 of the top superstocks competitors will vie for the top prize. Speed Shift TV will provide live Pay-Per-View video streaming throughout the event.
The price is $21.95 USD on Friday and $24.95 USD on Saturday. The action begins at 7 p.m. in New Zealand each night, which would be 10 p.m. (PST) the previous night in the United States. Fans in the United States, Friday’s race is Thursday and Saturday’s race is Friday.
For anyone unfamiliar with the event the TWS World 240s features the best superstocks drivers in the world in 500-plus horsepower race cars. Frankie Wainman Jr. is aiming for an unprecedented fourth title, but will be thoroughly challenged.
Also competing this weekend will be New Zealand’s top women in the stockcars division aiming for the Aotearoa Ladies Crown. There will also be a Stockcar Teams Race, the Bay of Plenty Saloon Championship and the Youth in their Ministocks.
