Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 12, 2018) – David and Janet Esteb and their SawBlade.com backed Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition pulling tractor team moved up to seventh in the Light Super Stock Tractor Division of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour standings even after battling mechanical gremlins last weekend.
The action began on Friday at Chillhowee Park during the Tennessee Valley Fair. David Esteb had a good pull of 222.86 feet to finish eighth out of 13 entrants. Roy Metz drove Get R Done to a winning pull of 327.09 feet.
“We had a rocker arm adjuster break and tear up the end of the push tube,” Janet Esteb said. “So we tried to fix it to pull Saturday. We broke it again.”
On Saturday David Esteb tried to nurse Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition, but could only muster a pull of 184.48 feet to finish ninth. Big Temptation driven by Bryan Haug took the win with a pull of 344.24 feet.
“We have everything fixed,” Janet Esteb said. “We put stronger adjusters in for our last event of the year with the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League.”
The final Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event is set for this Friday and Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo. The SawBlade.com sponsored team will compete Friday.
