Inside Line Promotions – RUSHVILLE, Ind. (June 26, 2018) – Fresh off their first win of the pulling season, the SawBlade.com sponsored Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition tractor of David and Janet Esteb scored a runner-up finish on Monday at a Hoosier State Tractor Pullers Association event.
Once again pulling in a different classification – the Heavy Superstock Class – the team, which normally pulls in the Light Superstock class, accomplished a pull of 295.097 feet. The winner recorded a pull of 309.661 feet.
At tractor pulls the driver who pulls the weighted sled – that gets heavier the farther the driver travels down the track – the farthest wins. The SawBlade.com backed tractor accomplished that feat on June 16.
“We are still trying to get the tractor dialed in for the start of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League, which opens July 13th in Jerseyville, Ill.,” Janet Esteb said.
Esteb added that the SawBlade.com backed team plans to compete this Saturday with the Indiana Pulling League in Winamac, Ind.
“We will be back in the Light Superstock Class, which is the class we usually pull in,” she said.
The opening event for the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League in 2018 is July 13 at the Jersey County Fair in Jerseyville, Ill., followed by the Marshall/Putnam County Fair in Henry, Ill., on July 14.
