Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (May 30, 2018) – The Sawblade.com sponsored Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition light superstock tractor of David and Janet Esteb continued to battle through engine problems last weekend.
The Estebs competed on Saturday during the inaugural Jay Fuqua/Don Head Memorial Pull at the Robertson County Fairgrounds, where they finished 11th in their division.
“We had a great turnout for the first annual Jay Fuqua/Don Head Memorial Pull,” Janet Esteb said. “Sorry to say we’re still fighting gremlins in the motor.
“Jay lost his battle with cancer last year and Don a few years ago. We pulled many years with them. They were both great guys and would do anything for anyone. We were honored to take part in this event.”
After a complete tear down of the engine this week, the SawBlade.com sponsored Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition will try again on Saturday in Boswell, Ind., during the first pull of the Indiana Pulling League.
The primary focus for the SawBlade.com sponsored team is the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League in 2018. That season will begin July 13 at the Jersey County Fair in Jerseyville, Ill., followed by the Marshall/Putnam County Fair in Henry, Ill., on July 14.
