Inside Line Promotions – FRANKLIN, Ind. (May 22, 2018) – Memorial Day Weekend is coming up and that means the tractor pull season will get underway in a huge way.

The Sawblade.com sponsored Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition light superstock tractor of David and Janet Esteb will compete this Saturday during the inaugural Jay Fuqua/Don Head Memorial Benefit Tractor and Truck Pull at the Robertson County Fairgrounds in Springfield, Tenn.

“Jay lost his battle with cancer last year and Don a few years ago,” Janet Esteb said. “We pulled many years with them. They were both great guys and would do anything for anyone. We are honored to take part in this event.”

Sanctioned by the Battle of the Bluegrass Pulling Series, four exciting classes will be offered – 6300# Lightweight Super Stock Tractor, 6000# Light Limited Tractor, 6200# Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Truck and 8000# 3.0 Diesel Trucks.

The gates open at 4:30 p.m. (Central) and the event kicks off at 7 p.m. (Central). Tickets are $20 for adults and children 10-years-old and younger get in free.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Fund through the Robertson County Division of American Cancer Society.

The SawBlade.com backed Esteb team will compete in the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League in 2018. That season will begin July 13 at the Jersey County Fair in Jerseyville, Ill., followed by the Marshall/Putnam County Fair in Henry, Ill., on July 14.

Prior to the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League events the Eat’n Dollars/Alky Edition team will compete in a handful of Indiana Pulling League events in June.
