Inside Line Promotions – LONGDALE, Okla. (Oct. 9, 2017) – Longdale Speedway will close the 2017 season this Friday and Saturday with one of its biggest events of the year.

The Iron Man Winter Nationals, which is a two-day event under the Top Gun Series banner, will host all four classes of cars that regularly compete at the track. The event features some of the year’s highest payouts as Saturday night’s feature winners will collect $3,000 in the IMCA modifieds division, $800 for IMCA stock cars and sport mods and $600 for pure stocks.

In addition to the lucrative prize money, the track will also crown its Top Gun Series champions.

While Cole Traugott is the only driver with multiple wins – six – in the modifieds division, Tanner Black is atop the championship standings.

Traugott also has three stock cars victories at Longdale Speedway this season, but its Travis Baird who is the points leader in the class.

Mike Roach and Joe Adams are tied for the most trips to Victory Lane in the sport mods division with four feature victories apiece. Roach holds an eight-point lead over Adams in the Top Gun standings.

Marvin Allen owns a slim one-point advantage in the pure stocks class for the Top Gun title. Hesston Shaw leads the division with six triumphs.

Stock cars, sport mods and pure stocks will use the draw-redraw format while the top eight modifieds in Friday night’s feature will lock into Saturday night’s 60-lap main event.

Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and military, with children 12 and younger free. Pit passes are $30.

Fans who attend Friday night’s race will receive a half-price discount on their Saturday night admission.

Racing begins at 7 p.m. each night.
