Inside Line Promotions – LONGDALE, Okla. (Sept. 25, 2017) – IMCA sport mods will take center stage at Longdale Speedway this weekend for the track’s highest-paying race of the year.
The winner of Saturday night’s 60-lap Darren Ernst Memorial Sport Mod Blowout feature will collect a whopping $3,000 for the victory.
The action will begin on Friday at 7:15 p.m. when a pit crew challenge will determine the starting positions for the heat races, with the quickest time starting in front. Crews will be limited to two members. Heat race winners and the top four finishers in Friday’s feature will be locked into Saturday night’s main event.
Saturday night’s program begins at 7:45 p.m. with the Last Chance Race for the sport mods.
Pure stocks, which will be competing both nights, will follow with their heats and feature, with the sport mod 60-lap main event capping off the weekend. The race will be run in two 30-lap segments.
The entry fee for sport mods is $50 or $100 if only racing on Saturday. Parts, tires and fuel will be available at the track.
Grandstand admission is only $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military members with children ages 12 and younger admitted free.
