The Sneads Ferry Festival will partner with Matthews for the racing events this Saturday at East Carolina Speedway in Robersonville, N.C., and Aug. 12 at Carteret Speedway in Swansboro, N.C. Matthews will also make an appearance with his car at the festival.
“I’m very excited to team up with the Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival for the upcoming races,” Matthews said. “I want to expose race fans to the great community of Sneads Ferry and hopefully attract more followers to our sport. I’m also looking forward to getting back to Carteret, where I had two wins in one night a few weeks ago.”
The Sneads Ferry Shrimp Festival, which takes place Aug. 12-13 in Sneads Ferry, N.C., celebrates the rich heritage of the fishing village. There will be arts and crafts, a carnival, a parade, lots of entertainment and delicious local and regional food and drink options.
