Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 24, 2017) – BMP Speedway will host the Monster Truck Throwdown this Friday and Saturday, marking the first time ever for an outdoor monster truck event at the race track.
Avenger, Brutus, Bounty Hunter, Quad Chaos, Dirt Crew and Iron Outlaw will be showcased each night.
The event features a variety of action, including side-by-side racing, wheelie competitions, donut competitions and a freestyle where drivers get to attempt the wildest stunts possible.
The gates open at 4 p.m. with a pit party at 5 p.m. before the event starts at 7 p.m. each day.
The pit party allows the fans to meet the drivers for autographs and get a close up of the trucks, which are approximately 10,000 pounds and 10 feet tall. The engines can produce up to 1,800 horsepower as the trucks reach up to 70 miles per hour during competitions.
The Monster Truck Throwdown travels across North America with previous stops this year in North Carolina, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana and Michigan as well as Alberta and Ontario, Canada. The tour will also visit Missouri, Illinois, Maine and New Jersey after making its only stop in Montana this weekend at BMP Speedway.
Tickets are $25 ($20 pre-buy) for adults and $15 ($10 pre-buy) for children ages 3-years-old to 12-years-old each night at BMP Speedway.
