Inside Line Promotions – LONGDALE, Okla. (Oct. 4, 2016) – The Winter Nationals is developing into a strong event that helps close each season at Longdale Speedway.

The third edition of the marquee event is set for Oct. 15-16 and will feature six classes competing for a strong purse.

The first night will be the standard purse for each class with the Oct. 16 event paying $1,000 to win and $200 to start for both the IMCA modifieds and IMCA sport mods A Mains; $800 to win and $100 to start for the IMCA stock car and grand nationals main events; $500 to win and $50 to start the pure stocks A Main; and $200 to win and $30 to start the intermediate sport mods main event.

The opening night of the doubleheader will feature a full race program with the top 12 drivers in each class (or 50 percent of the field if not a full field) locking into the A Main of the finale. Last Chance Races will kick off the final night of racing on Oct. 16 and will determine the remainder of the starting lineup for the main events.

The entry fee increases $100 for a driver only racing on Oct. 16.

Adult tickets are $10 each night with tickets for seniors and military members $8 per night. Children ages 12 and younger get in free. Anyone who attends Saturday can bring their ticket stub to Sunday’s race and get in for only $5. Pit passes are $30 per day.

The front gate will open at 5 p.m. with racing at 6 p.m. both nights.

Additionally, there will be a practice on Oct. 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Each pit pass is $30.

LONGDALE SPEEDWAY –

Longdale Speedway is a semi-banked, 3/8-mile clay oval located in Longdale, Okla. Longdale features a gravel pit area off of the backstretch with a concrete viewing area. The pits also include concessions and a full parts store, including tires and fuel. A concrete wall perimeter surrounds the track with an electronic scoreboard, television quality lighting, aluminum grandstand seating 2,000 along with a souvenir shop, sno cone hut, concessions and Herb’s Smoke Shack featuring ribs and turkey legs. All of these features making Longdale Speedway the premier dirt track in Northwest Oklahoma.
