Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (Sept. 15, 2016) – Billings Motorsports Park is bringing a rare event to the community this weekend.
The track and Tracy Ostermiller are putting on a sand drag event next to the racing facility on Saturday. Practice will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the races at 6 p.m.
“The race will be dedicated to my dad, Harvey Ostermiller, who passed away on Sept. 4, and to my best friend, Vince Lafevers, who passed away on June 22,” Tracy Ostermiller said. “We run 300 feet in sand with a pro drag tree.”
The adult class will be stock motorcycles to big extended motorcycles and the children’s class will be motorcycles and quads. The quad class will be from stock to nitro extended quads. There will be stock side by sides to mod side by sides with two classes of sand rails and four classes of trucks from stock gas to diesel and mod trucks.
Additionally, there is a sand hill for children to play on.
Adult tickets are $10 at the gate and $5 for children. Ages 12 and under get in free.
