Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (Aug. 15, 2016) – Three classes are set to invade Billings Motorsports Park this weekend.
The 3/8-mile oval will host late models, modifieds and super stocks on Saturday.
Four-time feature winner Kelly Hample has built a 42-point advantage in the late model championship standings. Rayce McCord ranks second with Teddy Hample 32 points behind him.
While Hample has won more than half the features, Rob Odegard, Hank Berry and Dave Smith have also been victorious this season at the track.
Beau Nave has earned a top-10 finish in every modifieds race this year to lead the championship standings by 23 points over Jeremy Meirhofer with Tracy Whittenberg only 28 points behind Nave.
Travis Davis, Berry and Eddie Kirchoff lead the class with two feature wins a piece as Dale Neitzel and Travis Hagen have also scored a victory.
Jason George enters Saturday with an 11-point lead in the super stocks standings with Doug Blair ranked second and three-time winner Meirhofer third – only 13 points out of the lead.
Besides George and Meirhofer the only other winner in the division this season is Jordan Tocci, who has two triumphs.
The super stocks will also have a make-up feature from the rained out event on Aug. 6.
Tickets for the event are $14 for adults; $10 for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old; $5 for children ages 7 to 11 years old; and free for children ages 6 and younger.
The pits are slated to open at 3 p.m. with the front gate opening at 5:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
