Inside Line Promotions – HUTCHINSON, Kan. (July 20, 2016) – Jack Dover is taking a 42-point lead and a two-race winning streak into a pair of Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints races this week.

Dover, who has won the last two events with the series to take over the lead in the championship standings, will compete on Thursday at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., and Friday at Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa. He is also slated to race on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.

“We’ve really turned around our season lately and we always enjoy racing with the Nebraska 360s and at Knoxville,” he said. “Hopefully we have a fun weekend and can run up front all three nights.”

Dover won at I-80 Speedway four times last season and he has recorded 10 feature triumphs at I-80 Speedway during the past three-plus seasons.

He placed second in 2014 during his most recent race at Crawford County Speedway. Saturday will also mark his season debut at Knoxville Raceway, where he hasn’t competed since the 360 Knoxville Nationals last August.

Dover is coming off a frustrating finish at the Hutchinson Grand Nationals last weekend at the Kansas State Fairgrounds, where he drove for Gary Swenson.

The team advanced from sixth to fourth place in a heat race on Friday before placing ninth in the feature. That relegated him to a B Main on Saturday, when a third-place result in the consolation race garnered a transfer into the main event.

Dover competed for another top 10 before exiting the race early because of track conditions. He was credited with a 15th-place finish.

It snapped a streak of five consecutive weekends with a feature victory for Dover.
