Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (June 28, 2016) – Billings Motorsports Park is hosting the first two nights of the Warriors Rendezvous this Friday and Saturday.
The marquee event, which will be held during the tradition Rebel Run Weekend, pays $1,000 to win each night for both the IMCA modifieds and the late models with super stocks receiving the standard purse.
Drivers from across the country as well as Canada are expected, including Oregon’s Dustin Cady in the modifieds class and Canadians Brad Kerrison and Dave and Matt Smith in the late model division to name a few.
Eddie Kirchoff topped a strong field of 27 modifieds last Saturday to claim the $1,000 leg of the Interstate IMCA Modifieds Challenge Series at Billings Motorsports Park. Kenny Bauman leads the track standings entering this weekend with Jeremy Meirhofer only six points back and Beau Nave seven points out of the lead.
Hank Berry and Kelly Hample are tied atop the late model standings at Billings Motorsports Park as the drivers have split winning the first two rounds of competition at the 3/8-mile oval.
Meirhofer owns a 12-point advantage over Jason George in the super stocks championship standings. Meirhofer has claimed two of the four features this season.
Tickets for each night are $14 for adults; $10 for seniors, military members and students ages 12 to 17 years old; $5 for children ages 7 to 11 years old; and free for children ages 6 and younger.
The pits are slated to open at 3 p.m. with the front gate opening at 5:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. each night.
