Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (Oct. 8, 2015) – Cody Freeman is excited about the future.

Freeman has confirmed a continued commitment with McCallister Precision Marketing, signing a multiyear contract extension in an effort to pursue his dream of racing on pavement. In doing so this has expanded his opportunity to bring additional marketing partners to the team.

“I have been chosen to join a truck team next year to race 15-to-20 days on the East Coast, but we need to find additional sponsorship to help offset the cost,” he said. “The goal is to get as much seat time on pavement as possible both testing and racing out east on a regular basis. We’ve found that opportunity in a team that will allow me to grow as a driver and continue to help me take the next step forward.”

Freeman now just needs to find those additional marketing partners that want to join him with this opportunity.

Freeman was slated to compete for the second time with the Southeast Super Truck Series last weekend in North Carolina. However, the event was postponed until Oct. 24 because of the weather.

“I can’t wait to get back in the Nesbitt Racing Enterprises truck and compete on pavement again,” he said. “We had a great first experience and I’m excited to show the improvement from the first to second race. Hopefully we can springboard ourselves into next year with a great run.”

Freeman is coming off his first career micro sprint championship on dirt. He is also advancing into the A Class and Outlaw division and will compete in as many micro sprint races as possible next year.

“We know we’re going to run dirt,” he said. “We just don’t know how active we’ll be until after we finalize our pavement schedule. I think my dirt experience will help me on pavement and vice versa.”
