Inside Line Promotions – GERMANTOWN, Tenn. (Sept. 2, 2015) – Sammy Swindell is gearing up for a marquee event this weekend.

Swindell will pilot a CJB Motorsports entry on Friday and Saturday at Jackson Speedway in Jackson, Minn., during the 37th annual Jackson Nationals with the FVP National Sprint League.

The team will also use the spotlight to debut Swindell’s 2016 paint scheme, which will feature new partner Big Game Treestands and other brands under the Mainstream Holdings, Inc., banner.

“Jackson is a big, fast track that can be technical to drive,” he said. “It has long straights and tight turns. You need to be able to get in the corner and off the corner well and not scrub much speed. Plus, I’m looking forward to seeing the improvements Tod (Quiring) and his team have done there.”

This weekend will mark Swindell’s first trip back to the half-mile oval since June 2014 and there is a lot on the line. The two-day event culminates with Saturday’s $25,000-to-win feature.

“We’ve run very well this year with CJB Motorsports and I know I’ll have a car capable of winning,” he said. “There’s a lot of money on the line. Hopefully we catch the right breaks and can stay up front all weekend.”

Swindell’s last memorable 410ci win at Jackson Speedway was a World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event in 1988.
