Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (March 25, 2015) – Tyson Hall is aiming to record his first career top five at both tracks hosting the ASCS Gulf South Region season-opening doubleheader this weekend.
Hall’s best result at Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas, which is the site for Friday’s race, is a 10th-place result during the 2013 season.
“That was a good night for our team,” he said. “It was an ASCS National Tour event so any time you can get a top 10 with that series you’ve had a great race.”
This Saturday Hall will tackle Battleground Speedway in Highlands, Texas, where he registered a ninth-place result in 2013.
“Golden Triangle is a smaller type of track while Battleground allows you to build more speed,” he said. “We don’t have a lot of laps around either place in a sprint car. Hopefully we can improve on our career-best results at both tracks and put ourselves in the top five.”
Hall is slated to compete full-time with the ASCS Gulf South Region this season. He ended 12th in the championship standings last season after scoring three top fives in limited action.
