Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (March 24, 2015) – Jack Dover has won a feature at 81 Speedway during each of the past two years.

Dover, whose season opener was cancelled last weekend in Texas because of rain, is seeking to extend that streak when he kicks off the season at the 3/8-mile oval in Park City, Kan., this Saturday during the 5th annual Air Capital Shootout with the NCRA.

“I want to go in there and win,” he said. “We’re going to head there and try our hardest. There’s going to be some great competition there because there’s a lot of money on the line.”

The event, which pays an NCRA-record $6,000 to win, provides Dover his first opportunity to continue a streak of wins that dates back to 2013. In addition to Dover’s triumph last season, he also charged from 16th to sixth in his other race at 81 Speedway.

“We’ve had a lot of success there throughout the years,” he said. “The track really varies from time to time. Sometimes the race is won up top and other times it’s on the bottom.”

Additionally, Dover has kicked off his season with a top-five finish in three of the past four seasons.
