Freeman Waiting for Parts as the Season Opener This Weekend Nears

Inside Line Promotions – LONGVIEW, Texas (March 2, 2015) – Cody Freeman is patiently waiting as his season opener is inching closer.

Freeman is slated to kick off the 2015 outdoor season this Saturday at Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas. However, his team is currently waiting on parts to complete his micro sprint.

“All of our electronic parts we ordered are on weather delay,” he said. “We’ve redid our electronics this year and all of the stuff has been delayed so that’s preventing us from wrapping up.”

Freeman will race this weekend assuming the parts arrive in a timely manner this week and the team can finish building the race car prior to Saturday’s race at the bullring, where Freeman recorded a top-six finish in all three races last year.

“I usually get to go there and race with my friends so that’s always fun,” he said. “We’re real close to getting that first win. We’re right there. I think just a little bit of luck is the difference.”

If Freeman is unable to compete this Saturday he is scheduled to race on March 13 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas, and on March 14 at Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale, Texas.

“Heart O’ Texas Speedway is a short, high-banked track and Kennedale is a longer, high-banked track,” he said. “They should both be really fast.”

SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT – C&J Energy Services

C&J Energy Services was founded in 1997 and the company soon established itself as a premium provider of hydraulic fracturing and coiled tubing services. In 2011, it became a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CJES. That same year C&J acquired Total Equipment and Service, now the primary equipment supplier, thus adding extensive manufacturing capability to its offerings. In 2012, C&J acquired Casedhole Solutions, a premium provider of perforating, pipe recovery, wireline logging, pressure pumping and other services. “C&J Energy Services and I have values and beliefs that align closely together making it a great combination not only currently, but for the long term future as well,” Freeman said. “We both believe in providing top-notch equipment and professionalism to every project we are involved in. C&J Energy is willing to go that extra mile to ensure they are victorious in the end, the same as I am. They know the importance of a team and have been great Team Members of mine, helping me push myself further as not only a race car driver, but as a young man wanting a long future in the sport.”

Freeman would also like to thank C&J Energy Services, Casedhole Solutions, FHE USA, McCallister Precision Marketing and Driver Websites for their continued support.
