Inside Line Promotions – FRESNO, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2014) – Dominic Scelzi will pull double duty this Saturday when he wraps up his season in California.

Scelzi will pilot his Roth Motorsports backed, family owned sprint car during the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series event at Stockton Dirt Track in Stockton, Calif. He will also drive for Dan Monhoff in the 360ci division during the California Civil War Sprint Car Series season finale at the 3/8-mile track.

“I’m extremely excited,” Scelzi said. “I want to thank Dan for the opportunity. Bryan Sundby is coming back out and Peter Murphy is going to be helping us out again. I’m excited to end the California season with hopefully two good races.”

Scelzi finished ninth during a King of the West event earlier this season at Stockton Dirt Track, where he picked up his first career 410ci victory last season.

“I seem to do really well there,” he said. “The track is kind of hit or miss. You never know what you’re going to get, but I have adapted well there almost every time.”

Scelzi also placed second last season during his lone 360 event at the track.

“I know that Dan will provide a good car and I’m confident in the progression we have made with my family car,” he said. “I have high expectations that we can put together a couple of good finishes and be in contention for a win or two this weekend.”
