Inside Line Promotions – FORNEY, Texas (June 9, 2014) – Travis Rilat will make a familiar trip from his shop to the race track this Saturday.

The approximate 15-minute route is to Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, where the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour opens the Bob Westphal Memorial Cup Speedway this weekend.

“It’s always great to be able to compete close to home,” Rilat said. “Not only is Devil’s Bowl a close track, it’s also one of the fun ones we race at each year.”

Rilat will pilot a sprint car for Richard Saumure at the event, which will mark their fifth race of the season at the half-mile track.

In a pair of Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour races and two with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, Rilat’s best result at Devil’s Bowl Speedway this season has been an eighth-place finish.

“We need to put together a better performance on Saturday,” he said. “I’m expecting to go in there and compete for the win.”

Rilat’s most recent victory at Devil’s Bowl Speedway was in June of 2012.
