Inside Line Promotions – PUYALLUP, Wash. (June 1, 2014) – After taking last weekend off to build a pair of new race cars, Trey Starks will make his season debut at Skagit Speedway this Saturday.

Starks claimed a trio of races at the 3/10-mile oval in Alger, Wash., last season and it’s the track where he recorded his first career sprint car victory in 2011.

“Skagit has always been a fun track for me,” he said. “It’s one of those tracks that teaches you different things. It’s something you have to adapt to. It’s a place you need to know and run a lot to be competitive.”

Starks will also be racing a different car combination starting this weekend.

“We’re going to try a J&J Auto Racing (chassis) for a while,” he said. “We’re all really excited about it. Not too many people run them out here so it’ll be cool if we can branch J&J out on the West Coast a little.”

Starks said he will compete weekly at Skagit Speedway for the next three weeks leading up to the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup June 26-28.
