Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 2, 2014) – After three consecutive ASCS Midwest Region championships and four titles since 2008, Jack Dover is focused solely on wins as he hits the track this weekend for the first time of the year.

“I want 25 wins and to win some bigger money races,” he said.

Dover captured 15 feature victories and he swept the 2nd annual Midwest Fall Brawl sponsored by Home Pride Companies, Inc., at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb., which gave Dover his biggest payday ever – a $20,000 bonus.

I-80 Speedway is also the site of the ASCS Midwest Region doubleheader this Saturday and Sunday, which bodes well for Dover. Including his success at the Midwest Fall Brawl, Dover finished in the top three of every heat race he raced in and he recorded four feature wins and six top-five finishes last season.

“The goal is to win this weekend,” he said. “There’s no other goal. I want to win both nights.”

The team didn’t make any major adjustments during the offseason and this year’s schedule nearly mirrors last season. Dover will compete in approximately 50-to-55 races throughout the Midwest, including the Knoxville Nationals in the 410 and 360 classes, the Midwest Fall Brawl, the Jackson Nationals, the Nebraska Cup and the Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial to name a few events.

Dover got his career season off to a hot start last year by winning his first race of the season at I-80 Speedway.

“It’s pretty huge because you’re pretty stressed going into the first race,” he said. “If you win the first weekend, it’s definitely a huge confidence boost.”
