RacinBoys Pay-Per-View of Chili Bowl Features Starts at Noon (CST) on Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – TULSA, Okla. (Jan. 18, 2014) – After four captivating nights featuring nearly 300 of the top drivers in the world, it’s down to the finale at the 28th annual Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals Presented by General Tire.

RacinBoys will continue its live Pay-Per-View coverage of the main events on Saturday from Tulsa Expo Raceway until the MAVTV live television broadcast takes over just prior to the dual C Mains. RacinBoys – with partners Lucas Oil and MAVTV – will begin to air the main events at approximately Noon (CST). The cost is only $25. For more information, visit http://www.RacinBoys.com.

Once the MAVTV television broadcast begins, fans who have purchased the RacinBoys Pay-Per-View package will have live audio for the remainder of the Chili Bowl, which has featured four elite nights of action.

On Friday, Bryan Clauson powered to an impressive victory – his second career in preliminary action.

“It’s huge,” he said. “The only other time I’ve come close to winning this thing we won the qualifying night.”

Clauson charged on the cushion and around polesitter Tim McCreadie during a restart on Lap 9. Clauson then pulled away to a sizeable advantage and cruised to the win.

“Job one is done,” he said. “We don’t have much time to celebrate because we have a big one tomorrow. We have a fast car. This is as confident in a race car as I have felt. The longer the races go, the better I get.”

McCreadie, who favored the bottom as Clauson maintained the top groove, moved next to the cushion after Clauson took the lead.

“I just was too tight to run the cushion,” said McCreadie, who held on to the runner-up position. “Hey, I’m in the show two years in a row.”

Dave Darland outlasted Daryn Pittman for third place, which was the final lock-in position to the feature on Saturday.

“We just needed to make a few little adjustments to make it freer on the cushion,” Darland said. “But we can’t complain. We are in the A (Main). That’s one of the most important things.”

After Friday’s main event, the draw took place for the 12 drivers locked into Saturday’s 55-lap main event.

Caleb Armstrong will start on the pole of the main event with Christopher Bell on the outside of the front row. Clauson and Jonathan Beason make up the second row; Zach Daum and Sammy Swindell the third row; Damion Gardner and McCreadie the fourth row; Chris Windom and Darland the fifth row; and Michael Pickens and Alex Bright the sixth row. The rest of the main event will be filled with transfers from a pair of B Mains.
