Inside Line Promotions – FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2013) – One of the most talented young sprint car drivers in the country is in search of an opportunity to expand his sprint car résumé next season.

In two quick seasons, Dominic Scelzi – the 16-year-old son of four-time NHRA champion Gary Scelzi – has captured a trio of 360ci feature victories against some of the top talent in the country.

Dominic Scelzi also recorded his first career 410ci win in emphatic fashion during a King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series in August at Stockton 99 Dirt Track in Stockton, Calif.

“This year was my second in a sprint car and I absolutely love the sport,” Scelzi said. “I have been able to experience 410 winged and nonwing, and 360 winged and nonwing, and I’m willing to race in any or all of those classes.”

After garnering multiple go-kart and micro sprint championships, Scelzi earned two feature victories last year during his first season in a full-size sprint car. Scelzi has continued to progress with multiple wins since his debut and he is looking to take the next step.

“I have learned so much on a variety of track conditions the past two seasons,” he said. “I want to keep moving forward and continue to learn. With good equipment and the right opportunity, I am confident that I will drive to the front of the pack.”
