Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (Aug. 3, 2026) – Huset’s Speedway will take the next two weekends off, setting the stage for a big three-week stretch in late August and Labor Day Weekend that wraps up the 2026 season at the high-banked oval.

Following this dormant period that’s a courtesy for the 360 Knoxville Nationals and Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, Huset’s Speedway springs back into action on Aug. 23 for Thunder Road Night, which serves as the Heiman Fire Equipment Mayhem Summer Series finale. The action features the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Car Series, Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Stock Cars.

The ensuing Sunday, Aug. 30, is Heiman Fire Equipment Night and the Championship Night for the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars as well as the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Car Series. It will be the penultimate points race for the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks.

Huset’s Speedway caps the season with a marquee tripleheader Sept. 4-6. All three nights of the L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout showcases the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.

The Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks Championship Night will be on Sept. 4 during the program presented by D & I Railroad. The Gopher Midget Racing Series makes its lone appearance at the track on Sept. 5 during the program presented by Ace Ready Mix. The season finale on Sept. 5 has no support class and the program is presented by Myrl & Roy’s Paving.

All Huset’s Speedway championships are still up for grabs with only one points race remaining for the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars, two for the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and three in the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks.

Ryan Timms holds a 14-point lead over Christopher Thram in the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars championship standings. Kaleb Johnson is 22 points behind Timms.

Lee Goos Jr. is two points ahead of Aydin Lloyd in the Heser Auto & Detailing RaceSaver Sprint Car Series championship standings. Brandon Bosma is 19 points out of the top spot.

Dustin Gulbrandson owns a one-point advantage over Craig Hanisch in the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks championship standings with Garet Deboer eight points behind Gulbrandson.
