Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 3, 2026) – Jack Dover is eager to return to Knoxville Raceway in less than two weeks for the NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s after finding speed at the end of the night last Saturday at the track.

Dover guided the Tim Estenson Motorsports entry to the 22nd quickest qualifying time in his group before he advanced from 11th to ninth place in a heat race.

“Time trials are so critical and we were buried by our time,” he said. “We moved forward every time we hit the track, but it was just a bit too much to overcome.”

The car came alive in the B Main, getting stronger each lap as Dover hustled from 15th to fifth place. He ended one spot shy of transferring into the main event.

“The two times we’ve raced at Knoxville this year we’ve gotten better throughout each night and ended with our best performance our final time on the track,” he said. “Our focus is getting better earlier in the night to put ourselves in a better position.”

Dover will take this weekend off before venturing back to Knoxville Raceway for the famed Knoxville Nationals, which runs Aug. 12-15. He produced his best Knoxville Nationals result since 2021 last season.

“It’s a tough event with all of the best drivers in the country so you can’t have any setbacks or get yourself behind,” he said. “You have to be on point every time you hit the track and have things fall your way. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
