Esser, Zebell, Anderson and Eckblad Produce Wins at Jackson Motorplex During Heiman Fire Equipment Mayhem Summer Series Pres. by Best Western Fairmont

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (July 23, 2026) – Darren Esser, J.J. Zebell, Parker Anderson and Daniel Eckblad topped Round 4 of the Heiman Fire Equipment Mayhem Summer Series presented by Best Western Fairmont on Thursday at Jackson Motorplex.

Esser dominated the first-ever Crown Vics main event at the track, winning by 3.644 seconds.

“I just got there with a great car that my old man helped me build,” he said. “Thanks to that and a great track I was able to hold off whoever was behind me. Thanks to the track for having us. It’s a great honor. I think I can speak for everyone that we’d love to come back.”

Esser led the distance of the 10-lap feature with Taylor Andringa finishing second and Cameron Kabe third. Tom Balvance was fourth and Ethan Weber placed fifth.

Andringa and Esser posted heat race victories.

Zebell led all 15 laps for the Late Model Street Stocks score – his second of the season at Jackson Motorplex.

“I was lucky I got that start,” he said. “We were just in the right place at the right time.”

A couple of cautions bunched the field together, but Zebell was efficient lap by lap en route to winning by 1.321 seconds. Chris Ellingson recorded a second-place showing with Brett Martin, Cory Yeigh and Dustin Gulbranson rounding out the top five, respectively.

The heat races were captured by Gulbrandson and Tracy Halouska.

Anderson garnered his third USRA Hobby Stocks triumph of the season at the track.

“I figured in (turns) three and four that was my one chance, send the slider and hope it sticks,” he said. “(Winning) three of four is pretty awesome, especially close to home. It’s been an awesome season so far.”

Dylan Fitzpatrick led the first eight laps before Anderson dove under Fitzpatrick entering turn three on Lap 9. It was the race-winning move during the 15-lap feature as he pulled away to win by 1.330 seconds.

Jeremy Wegner was the runner up with Fitpatrick placing third. Nick Brady was fourth and Blake Schneekloth ended fifth.

The heat races were won by Brady and Wegner.

Eckblad rallied from the eighth starting position and led the final five laps of the 15-lap USRA Stock Cars main event for his first career triumph at the track.

“Our car has been really good down here,” he said. “It’s great. This is my first true USRA win so it’s great to check that off the list.”

Chance Larson paced the field for the first 10 laps before he biked in turn one, sending him up the track and slowing rapidly. Third-running Colby Klaassen had nowhere to go and collided with the stalling car, knocking them both out of the race. Eckblad inherited the lead and then held off Luke Sathoff during a green-white-checkered finish, winning by 0.284 seconds.

Gavin Bussinger rounded out the podium with Levi Vander Weide finishing fourth and Chad Overgaard fifth.

Vander Weide, Randy Klein and Larson recorded heat race wins.
