Inside Line Promotions – WILMOT, Wis. (July 13, 2026) – David Gravel produced a trio of podium finishes last weekend to increase Big Game Motorsports’ lead in the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series championship standings to 92 points.

Gravel finished third on Thursday at Hartford Speedway in Hartford, Mich., before running second and third, respectively, on Friday and Saturday at Wilmot Raceway. That gives the team 20 podiums and 26 top-five finishes in 38 starts this season.

“It was a solid weekend,” he said. “We qualified well each night and got ourselves in the dashes. We had to overcome some bad dash draws, but to get three podiums, it was a solid weekend.”

Gravel set quick time in qualifying and won a heat race before placing third in both the dash and the main event at Hartford Speedway.

“I was just hanging around there,” he said. “We fell back a couple of spots and at the end the car got better. We were good enough to maintain.”

On Friday at Wilmot Raceway, Gravel timed in second quickest. He won a heat race before pulling the highest number – eight – in the dash draw. Gravel gained a spot in the dash and hustled from seventh to second place in the main event.

“Those guys were hanging on at the end and our car got better throughout the feature on Friday,” he said. “I was able to make lanes work that other people couldn’t. We were coming at the end. I wish it was a 40-lap race.”

The weekend wrapped up on Saturday with Gravel qualifying third quickest and finishing second in a heat race. He moved from sixth to fourth place in the dash and gained a spot in the feature to end third.

“I had a front row seat to Sheldon (Haudenschild) and Garet (Williamson) battling,” he said. “Those guys were fast. I could keep them at arm’s length, but I wasn’t close enough to challenge. I made some contact with (Spencer) Bayston that messed up our car so that didn’t help, but we came out of there with another podium.”

This week is a busy one for the team with five straight nights of racing in Ohio. It begins on Tuesday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica for the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic presented by DAC Vitamins and Minerals. The team will then race four nights in a row at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg with the $100,000-to-win Jokers Jackpot highlighting Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing races on Wednesday and Thursday followed by the $200,000-to-win Kings Royal highlighting a World of Outlaws doubleheader at the track on Friday and Saturday.

“I expect to be competitive each night,” Gravel said. “We do this for the big events so I’m hoping we can have some success at the Joker’s Jackpot and the Kings Royal. I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
