Mark Burch Motorsports and Lasoski Set for Short Track Nationals

Inside Line Promotions - LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 22, 2013) - Momentum is clearly on the side of Mark Burch Motorsports and driver Danny Lasoski.

The duo has scored 10 consecutive top-10 finishes heading into this week's 26th Annual Short Track Nationals presented by Hoosier Tires, held Wednesday through Saturday at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Ark.

This marks the third straight year Lasoski has driven for Mark Burch Motorsports at the $15,000-to-win Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event.

"As far as I'm concerned, and it's not bragging, any time I crawl in Mark Burch's car I feel like we have a very, very good opportunity to win the race," Lasoski said. "It's one of those opportunities that feels right."

The team, which has registered six feature wins and 14 top fives in 24 races this season, has put together impressive results at the past two Short Track Nationals.

In 2011, they won a preliminary night and finished fourth in the finale. After placing 20th in preliminary action last year, Lasoski piloted the car from 11th to fourth in a B Main and then from 14th to sixth in the main event during the Saturday race.

"Going to the Short Track Nationals is a lot like the 360 Knoxville Nationals," Lasoski said. "You have to have luck on your side. I'm guessing 100 good race cars will be there and race car drivers from everywhere. So when you go to a little, bity quarter mile that changes from lap to lap, it gives a challenge I think we're up for."
