Inside Line Promotions – HARLAN, Iowa (June 15, 2026) – Tim Estenson is bound for the BillionAuto.com Huset’s High Bank Nationals this week.
The Tim Estenson Motorsports competitor will race Wednesday through Saturday at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., during a four-day World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series spectacle. The first two days encompass the $150,000-to-win Hefty Seed Huset’s Hustle with the final two showcasing the $300,000-to-win BillionAuto.com Huset’s High Bank Nationals, which also features a $100,000 High Bank Bounty.
“We have quite a bit of laps over there between me and Jack (Dover),” he said. “I think laying down a good qualifying time is key to be able to be competitive in a heat race. I just want to make every lap and hit every mark I can. To make the shows would be huge, but most importantly I want to make smart decisions and get better each night.”
Estenson finished fourth in the Huset’s Speedway championship standings during the 2024 season, when he posted one top five and seven top 10s in 10 feature starts. He ranked 10th in the track’s championship standings after recording one top five and four top 10s in 10 feature starts in 2023.
“I think trying not to overthink it and trying not to be so perfect is important,” he said. “I think I can get up to speed quick. I just need to get into a groove and make moves when I can. Not getting caught up in stuff, especially with how fast the track is, is important.”
Estenson got his season opener out of the way last Thursday at Shelby County Speedway, where he qualified 13th quickest before placing eighth in a heat race and 11th in the B Main at the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing show.
“Me being competitive, I wanted to do better than how we ended, but as soon as I got in the car I was able to get pretty comfortable right away,” he said. “In qualifying, we were better than we were in hot laps. In the heat race, I got into fifth on the start, but it was one of those deals where I should have stuck the bottom and I lost a couple of spots. Overall, I was happy to be up to speed. I just need to get more laps to get my race craft back to start getting into a groove.”
