Inside Line Promotions – GREENBRIER, Ark. (June 15, 2026) – Jordon Mallett has his fingers crossed that wet weather will stay away from his home state of Arkansas this weekend.
Mallett and car owner A.G. Rains have lost the last eight scheduled races to rainouts. Hopefully that changes this Friday at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway in Paragould and Saturday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis during an ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints doubleheader.
“This season seems like it’s hurry up and wait,” Mallett said. “The rain has been very frustrating because we have a lot of speed and we’re gelling well. That’s just the nature of the beast sometimes. I’m glad these races this weekend are close to home. Hopefully we can keep the speed going and get into the summertime where it’s dry again.”
Mallett recorded a fourth-place finish at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway last July during his most recent appearance at the track. He was also victorious at the dirt oval in June 2022.
“We won a race there a couple of years ago,” he said. “Normally every year we circle it on the calendar as a track we look forward to going to. It’s a different animal with how small it is, but a joy to go to regardless of how you run.”
Mallett finished fourth at Riverside International Speedway in May.
“I feel like if you take our last several races this season, the one at Riverside was the one we weren’t good at even though we ran in the top five,” he said. “I’m ready to go back there and see if we can improve compared to the last time we were there.”
Mallett enters this weekend with a top-four result during each of his last six starts.
