Inside Line Promotions – SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (June 8, 2026) – Big Game Motorsports driver David Gravel capped last weekend with a sixth-place outing at Angell Park Speedway.

Gravel was second quick in qualifying before he placed third in a heat race. He gained a pair of positions in the main event to place sixth, which was his 23rd top 10 of the season.

The weekend got off to a rough start with a rainout last Friday at Hartford Speedway in Hartford, Mich., followed by a DNF on Saturday at Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wis. Gravel was quickest in qualifying before he finished second in a heat race. He won the dash to garner the pole position for the main event, which he led for the first 24 laps. After briefly being passed for the top spot on Lap 25, Gravel reclaimed the point position on the ensuing lap and he led for two more circuits before a rut in turn four forced his car into the wall. The contact resulted in a damaged rear end, ending the night early for the team’s second DNF of the season.

Big Game Motorsports will compete at the Eagle Nationals this Tuesday at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., with the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing before heading to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday for the Premier Chevy Dealers Clash with the World of Outlaws.

Gravel last competed at Eagle Raceway in June 2017, when he recorded a result of seventh place. He has finishes of second, first and fourth, respectively, at Knoxville Raceway this season.

Gravel enters the weekend at Knoxville Raceway leading the World of Outlaws championship standings by 70 points.
