Inside Line Promotions - FORNEY, Texas (Oct. 14, 2013) - Travis Rilat is ready for a return to the seat this weekend at the 40th annual Winter Nationals.

The Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour doubleheader - Friday and Saturday at Devil's Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas - will be his first time in the car since a victory with car owner Richard Saumure on Sept. 28. The duo have partnered for five wins this season and are aiming for a couple more at the track located near Rilat's shop.

"I've always enjoyed Devil's Bowl and it's nice racing at a track just down the road," he said. "Richard and the team have given me great cars this season and hopefully we can put everything together once again this weekend to end in Victory Lane."

Rilat has a pair of top 10s at the fast half-mile track this season with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour. He won a B Main and charged from 17th to fifth place during the Matt Clevenger Memorial in March. Rilat also claimed his heat race and finished sixth in the feature during the Speedweek race in June.

"I've had good success at the track and won a few races there," he said. "The corners are very different from one another. It's a bit of a technical track that I have learned. The key will be to put ourselves in position by having a good heat race. If we can do that and get in the redraw for the feature, I feel confident that we can pick up another great finish."
