Inside Line Promotions – SUMMERTOWN, Tenn. (May 4, 2026) – Jordon Mallett tripled his top-five finishes this season after a solid weekend with the USCS Series.

Mallett and car owner A.G. Rains garnered a third-place result on Friday followed by a fourth-place finish on Saturday, piecing together the best weekend of the season so far for the team.

“I look at it as this is the first weekend we’ve had together,” Mallett said. “Everything went according to plan and relatively well. We had a really good race car every time we hit the race track so I’m looking forward to building on that.”

Mallett finished where he started – third – in a heat race on Friday at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Ala.

“We unloaded a really, really good car,” he said. “In the heat race, we made it to second and an ill-timed caution came out as I got to the leader. I thought I had a little more breathing room on the restart and was trying to get where I could square up the leader and it cost us a position. I was going for the win instead of trying to protect and that knocked us out of the dash.”

Mallett lined up on the outside of the fourth row in the main event.

“We were able to get going good in the feature,” he said. “At one point I was confident it was going to be our race. However, the nose wing got knocked down and once that happened, we had to stay content in third place as I had to change how to drive the car to cope with the nose wing being down.”

His five positions gained were tied for the third-most cars passed.

Similar results played out on Saturday at Thunderhill Raceway, where Mallett placed third in a heat race before advancing from seventh to fourth place in the main event.

“I felt good on Saturday night,” he said. “We battled rain off and on throughout the day and into the evening. It made the track sketchy and narrow and fast. It’s really hard to do much when it gets that way. By the time the feature came the track started to widen out and we could start racing. A.G. gave me a good race car and we could make good laps and had good speed to get another top five.”

Mallett returns to action this Friday at Benton Speedway in Benton, Mo., with the ASCS National Tour. He plans to also compete on Saturday at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark.
