Inside Line Promotions – VADO, N.M. (Nov. 18, 2025) – Jack Dover was on the move last weekend during his debut at Vado Speedway Park.

Dover, who piloted a sprint car for Huband Motorsports, gained multiple positions each time he hit the track throughout the two-day event en route to a runner-up result on Friday and an eighth-place finish on Saturday.

“That place is cool,” he said. “It’s really racy. I thought our weekend went pretty good considering I’d never driven that car or been to that track before.”

Dover kicked off the weekend by hustling from eighth to second place during a heat race on Friday. That moved him into the feature redraw and he pulled the No. 6 to line up on the outside of the third row in the main event. Dover gained four spots to garner a podium position – his ninth of the season.

“We were pretty good,” he said. “I was able to maneuver. On the top I was good and bottom I was good. I made some mistakes in traffic and felt like the car wasn’t pulling from the middle off the corner so we fixed that the next day.”

The weekend wrapped up on Saturday with another solid performance in a heat race as Dover advanced from eighth to fifth place. That locked him into the 15th starting position in the A Main.

“The track wasn’t as wide the second day,” he said. “At that point everybody was pretty fast. We picked off a couple and got into the feature. We slowly picked them off one by one in the feature. At one point we were third or fourth. With about 10 or 12 laps to go the rubber set in and my tires went away so we lost a few positions.”

Dover’s eighth-place result was his 27th top 10 of the season.

The season concludes for Dover this Friday and Saturday at Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande, Ariz., with the POWRi Desert Sprint Car Series. It will mark his debut at the track, where he will race for Huband Motorsports.

“I’m excited,” he said. “Me and Timmy (Estenson) went there a couple of years ago when he raced it. I think it will suit my style. I’m excited to race with the guys again and try our best.”
