Inside Line Promotions – WINDOM, Minn. (Feb. 28, 2024) – Big Game Motorsports resumes World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competition this weekend.

The team returns to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., on Sunday and Monday for the World of Outlaws Bike Week Jamboree on the heels of a successful DIRTcar Nationals at the track earlier this month.

David Gravel piloted the No. 2 sprint car to a win, three top fives and four top-six results during the first four World of Outlaws races of the season. It earned him his third big gator trophy as the event champion – tied for the most of any driver.

“It was a strong week,” he said. “I felt like about every time we hit the track we were good. The guys did a good job preparing everything and it was a good week. As far as a consistency standpoint, that’s what you’re looking for to win the championship.”

Gravel has been dominant at the track in recent years, winning World of Outlaws races at the half-mile oval each of the last three years. In fact, he’s garnered five of the last 10 series races at the track.

Gravel enters the World of Outlaws Bike Week Jamboree leading the World of Outlaws championship standings by 10 points.

The races this weekend also kick off a busy 17 straight weeks of racing for the World of Outlaws and competition during 33 out of the next 34 weeks.
