Inside Line Promotions – KUNKLETOWN, Pa. (Nov. 24, 2015) – Ryan Smith had a breakout season in 2015.

Smith capitalized on the momentum gained following his first career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series feature victory late in 2014 by scoring a season-high four triumphs this year.

“Our biggest goal for 2015 was to travel and push ourselves out of our comfort zone,” he said. “We raced at a lot of tracks for the first time and saw a lot of different track conditions and configurations than I’m used to growing up in Central Pennsylvania.”

Smith claimed the first UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions points race of the season on April 4 at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, where he led all 40 laps during his debut at the third-mile track.

“That really set the tone for the year and gave us a lot of confidence,” he said. “It was huge for us to win our first-ever All Star feature at a storied track like Attica.”

Smith added All Star victories at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pa., on July 4 and at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, on Sept. 19 during the $10,000-to-win Jim Ford Classic. His three wins tied for third-most in the series.

Smith ended his first year on the All Star tour ranked seventh in the championship standings.

“Regardless of the statistics we’re much stronger after spending a season pushing ourselves than we were at this time last year,” he said. “Our notebook about setups on different tracks and track conditions has developed and our confidence that we can show up and run well at a new track is higher than ever.”

Smith also picked up a micro sprint victory at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa.

“We had a lot of fun this year,” he said. “I can’t thank Rob Warko and the team enough for the opportunity as well as my sponsors, fans and family for their support. I think 2016 will be another great year for us.”
